    no it’s not. i inherited one similar to it when my grandfather died. he got it from a polish partisen from WW2.

    It’s legitimate, during the Russian civil war they cut them down to pistol size. Not sure if I have the balls to fire a 7.62x54r out of a “pistol” though!

     That’s right. I fired one several times one day with only a T shirt for padding and got a good bruise out of it. This rifle is only for a man or a big boy.  Oh yes;  and BIG Russian women. I saw some of the female Russki  snipers on the History Channel once.
